I'm so excited that you're all going to be reading Scallywag soon! I can't wait. This book has been a lot of fun to dive into. I love writing feisty heroines, especially when they're on the high seas!
One of the things I love most about writing pirates is that they're so sassy. I feel like they're a little feral and a little wild - kind of like shifters and vampires - and don't have to follow all of the rules. In fact, it's expected that they'll break those rules!
If you've been reading my stories for a while, you know that my books tend to be medium-spicy with a guaranteed HEA. I do have a couple of sweet stories (like The Catch or Chasing Whiskey) but most of them are spicy in nature. I love that! I love writing spicy stories because it means I don't have to cut off right when things start to get exciting. It's very fun for me! And I think pirates are especially spicy and fun.
And speaking of spicy, one of my plans for next year is to get some of my books into audio format. These will be narrated by me so you'll get the full author experience, haha! I hope you love them. Let me know which books you want to see narrated first. I have over 200, so there are a lot to choose from!
Note: next week is my 18th wedding anniversary! Many of you have met my hubby, Jack, and I'm so excited to be celebrating with him! We don't have any plans yet, though. What do you think we should do?
