In other news, I've been busy getting ready for Tremendicon and Writers on the River! These events are coming up fast and I'm so excited to get to see so many of you!

I love going to reader/author events for a lot of reasons. The biggest is that I just love the unique chance to get to see you all face to face. Sometimes being a writer - or reader - can be lonely. We don't always think about the other people who contribute to the feelings and vibes of a book. Sometimes authors forget that readers are the ones who make the stories come alive - and sometimes readers forget that authors have toiled for weeks, months, or years over a book.

At reader events, we bridge that gap and have this wonderful chance to just BE together.
