Hello Darlings!

This weekend, I'm at Writers on the River in Peoria, Illinois.

I look forward to this weekend every year because it's such an incredible chance to hang out with readers, writers, and book fans! If you've never been to #WOTR, be sure to visit www.writersontheriver.com so you can get involved next year! It's a ton of fun and one of my favorite places to be.

Here are a few highlights of the trip so far:

-I've written 15,000 words between yesterday and today (YES, this is on my vampire novels!)

-I've ALMOST been chased by a goose. I was too fast!

-I got to watch two little ducks sitting side-by-side on the beach as they watched the sunset together.

-I went to The Tin Lizard Bar and Grill and had a beer while reading a book! 100% recommend!

-I got to reconnect with some friends from years past, including lots of hugs and chatting about books!

What's up next?

Tonight is an author/assistant mingling event and then tomorrow is when everything gets wild! I'll be signing all day and partying all night! If you'll be in town, be sure to let me know so we can get some pictures together! And if you're camera-shy, that's okay, too! Stop by my table so we can talk! I want to know if you'd rather date a vampire or a shifter.
