This week, I'm trying to focus on doing a little more self-care this summer. I've been learning to roller skate, taking lots of walks, and of course, spending time with my cats.

What have you been up to this summer?

I do have one silly thing that happened to me this week. Our trash pickup day is Tuesday and our area is really strict that the bins have to be on the curb by 7:00am. Of course, I totally forgot - and Jack did, too - so I ran out at 6:59 to bring them to the curb.

Later that morning, I went to go leave the house when I spotted a cat outside. Y'all. I LOVE cats, so I was thrilled to see that I had a kitty-cat visitor. Only, when I got outside, I saw that it was MY CAT.

Boo, my old cat, had sneaked outside without me noticing.

I'm just glad he didn't get too far!
