International Quiz Impacts a family
Imagine if you could bring your whole family closer to God and be a witness at your work and wherever you go just by studying a book of the Bible for two months. Would you be interested in this?
This is exactly what happened in the life of one youth leader in Poland. We held our International Quiz this past weekend and it was an exciting time to see people from five languages (English, Polish, Ukrainian, Hungarian, and Lithuanian) compete to see who knew the book of Ephesians best. But the most encouraging part of this happened after the Quizzing was over and we asked people to share testimonies about the impact that studying for the Quiz had on their life.
Bartek stood up and shared how he studied with his son for the Quiz. They would read Ephesians together and then his daughter heard what they were doing and she started listening. His wife heard too and so she joined in as well! The whole family was studying Ephesians together!
But that is not all! Bartek listened to Ephesians while he was working and practiced the memory verses. He even asked his unsaved workers to check his verses to see if he was saying them correctly. One day Bartek was reciting the verses to himself as he went into a store. The lady at the store asked him what he was doing and so he told her that he was studying for the Quiz!
, this is why we are serving in Poland! It is such a blessing to see a whole family impacted by the Word of God. You are a part of this, so thank you for helping us make a difference in Bartek's family!
Winter Camp bears fruit
There are some questions that people in all time and in all places wonder about. Here are three of these questions:
- Where did I come from?
- Why am I here?
- What will happen in the future?
During our Winter Camp, Seth shared about these questions with the campers. Each question can be answered with an attribute of God.
- An all-powerful God created the Universe
- A loving God created me, cares about me, and has a plan for me
- An all-knowing God will reward those who faithfully serve Him
Praise the Lord, there were 12 young people who made professions of faith and 42 who dedicated their lives to the Lord during Winter Camp!
English4Life leads to Bible School
When we started English4Life in 2019 one of our goals was that students would be motivated to continue studying the Bible at a Bible Institute after their time with us. We currently have five former students at a Bible Institute (four in Hungary and one in Ukraine). Martyna, one of our students at English4Life in the Fall and Winter has a desire to go to the BI next year in Hungary. Would you pray for the students at the BI now and for Martyna?
