Dear ,
Here in Poland, it seems like Spring has arrived. The sun is shining, the grass is turning green, and birds are singing. Spring is a time of newness. This year Spring has brought new things that we have never experienced before, but we know that God is in control of everything. The Polish government has placed restrictions on group meetings and travel, so our ministry has changed, but we are still reaching out to impact young people here. We are thankful for technology that allows us to continue doing what God has called us to do.
2020 SO FAR
This year began with our annual Winter Camp in Zakopane, Poland! We had great weather for skiing and enjoying God's creation. Our theme was "Outer Space" and we talked about how incredible the universe is. Most importantly, there were 15 young people who put their faith in Jesus Christ alone as their Savior!
English4Life TERM 2
Right after Winter Camp we began our second term of English4Life. The people in this picture are the staff and students from this term. We are thankful for each person and it was encouraging to see them improve their English as the term went along and also to grow closer to the Lord.
Our family moved from an apartment in town to an apartment on property before the term began. It was nice for Dina and Eddie to be close by and to be able to have people over more often. We are especially glad now that we are living on property now because there is a lot of space to enjoy being outside without leaving the property!
The students had a project this term to make a video about a day in the life of English4Life. You can see what this looks like here: https://youtu.be/prBaBxxdiY8
We are praying about our next term, which is scheduled to begin on April 19. At this point, it looks like we are not going to be able to start a normal term, but we are exploring other opportunities such as online classes or a shortened term. Please pray for wisdom for us to know what is the best thing to do.
EDDIE'S UPDATE
Eddie is growing up fast! He will be two later this month. He is speaking a lot in Russian and English. He loves music, balls, going outside, and being the center of attention. Dina stays busy with him and she also has weekly meetings with three girls to help them grow closer to the Lord.
This summer, Eddie will have more responsibilities because he is going to be a BIG BROTHER! Dina and baby girl are doing well, please pray for protection and a safe delivery.
THANK YOU!
Thank you for being a part of our ministry! We know that the world is changing day-by-day, but we serve a God who never changes. If you would like us to pray for something specific for you now, please let us know. Also, if you are confined to home and want to talk, let us know.
As we remember the Lord's death and resurrection this week, let's focus on three things:
- Looking back at what He has done for us
- Looking inward to see if He wants to change anything in us
- Looking forward to His return
Talk to you later!

Thanks Seth What a great letter! The church here is doing good. It’s been very different though with confinement to our houses. I am learning new ways to minister. We have also been in a remodel project of remodeling the auditorium. Thanks again for your update and congratulations on your coming little one! Bless you guys. We’re praying for you all.... keep up the good work!! Jesus is coming!! Pastor Chris Bigg
What a blessing your letter was, in so many ways! Congratulations to you & Dina! I didn't know you were expecting! Much love & prayers to you all. Eddie is getting more precious every day. I'm so happy that you are now living on campus. What a beautiful place to be. Thanks so much for the wonderful update! Know that our prayers are with you all at Word of Life Poland. In Jesus' wonderful love, Leslie
Seth it's so exciting to see you grow as a family and continuing your ministry in Poland. Your enthusiasm for reaching the youth for Christ is refreshing in these uncertain times. Congratulations on the upcoming arrival of your baby girl! Continued to strive for an increase if God's kingdom on earth. Prayers for safety for all and God bless you and your family !
Hey Seth and Dina and Eddie!! A baby girl...how exciting for you all:) Eddie will be a great big brother I'm sure of it!! Love the pics of him with the Goods making music!! I think you need to get that boy a guitar! We are praying for you guys as you make decisions going forward with E4L and camp ministry this summer. So hard to make any concrete plans with this lock down and yet we know God is still on the throne and we are trusting Him as we seek for new ways to reach those around us with the gospel:) So thankful you were able to finish up this last term before things got too crazy and it's exciting to see how God is using this ministry to make a difference in the lives of the young people there. When is baby girl due? Take care of each other and "Wash those hands"!! I have been trained to fit hospital staff for N 95 masks and that has kept me busy these last 3 weeks:) Our hospital has been closing down some units that are less busy now and making them COVID -19 units by converting them to negative pressure rooms. We don't have that many cases now but they are making preparations for the worse scenario. We are preparing for the worst but praying for God's best for us. Keep us in your prayers as we will you! God Bless! Pastor Tim and Sonya
Good to hear from you. Continued prayer for health for your family, co-workers, and the community you are serving in. Here in Upstate NY, we are under isolation orders til the end of April. Good time to clean house, and call friends on the phone. Church services are on Facebook so it will be a different Easter this year. Praying this brings people back to Him. God watch over you.
