[NEW EPISODE] Finding Freedom from a Life Sentence and Helping Others with Quan Huynh

Nov 26, 2020 1:06 am

Have you ever made a series of bad decisions that led to grave consequences?

The first choice may have started as a form of escape from your sadness, anger, and self-doubt. Then it became a habit and a way of life to gain a sense of recognition. From there, you start to lose track of other important things in life, putting you in a prison of your own making.

How can you see the light again after all that? How can you learn to forgive yourself and own up to your mistakes?

For Quan Huynh, the answer is by making mindful choices and helping others find their freedom.

Quan joins us on the Seek Go Create podcast to talk about how his struggle with fitting in, which eventually led him to join a gang . . . and kill a man.

Something I especially enjoyed in our conversation — and I think will tremendously benefit you — is how Quan changed the trajectory of his life by being a voracious reader while in prison.

Quan didn't just stop at freeing himself, but he shared what he learned with other people who had the same experiences as him. More than anything, he wants to help people like him to make better choices and live a responsible life.

If you want to learn how you can find your freedom from within, make sure to listen to the full episode on our website or your favorite podcast platform.

To growing and becoming all we are created to be,

Tim
