Hi !

I have two quick updates for you today! Keep reading to find out more...

THE FIRST AND MOST URGENT

Today (May 22) is the last day to get tickets for the Fables & Fireflies Fantasy Ball on June 20, and I would absolutely love to see you there if you can make it.

I’ll be tabling and signing at the event, and I’m especially excited because it feels less like a convention and more like stepping into a fantasy world for an evening. There will be dinner, dancing, tarot readings, indie books and other vendors, a gorgeous vineyard setting, beautiful costumes, on-site tattoos, all of it.

Get Your Ticket

The event is hosted by Yours Truly Bookshop at the Melrose Vineyard in Roseburg, Oregon.

If you decide to attend, please let me know! I’d love to keep an eye out for you. And if there’s a specific book you want signed, feel free to bring it with you. I’m happy to sign anything (and bring copies of any books by request if you message me ahead of time).

You can find full event details and tickets here:

NEW LAUNCH DATE!

I’ve decided to move The Gargoyle & the Lady release date from May 28 to June 26 so I can spend a little more time polishing the story and making sure it’s the strongest version it can be before it lands in your hands.

I know delays are never ideal, and I truly appreciate your patience. This book matters a lot to me, and I want to give it the attention it deserves.

Thank you, as always, for reading my work and supporting these strange, romantic worlds I get to create. I never take that for granted!

Preorder for June 26

WHAT I'M READING NOW

I've been in a bit of a reading slump this spring (busy writing + glued to the news 😭), but in the past couple weeks I've had a couple of really refreshing reads.

I just finished Earl on Fire by Felicity Niven, one of my favorite historical romance authors. It’s a later-in-life romance (the heroine is fifty and the hero a bit older). Both the main characters have shame and regret about their pasts, but their love story is so sweet and tender. They find each other because he wishes to commission an author to write another book in his granddaughter’s favorite series, and she happens to be the author. If you like historical romance that’s a little unconventional, Felicity Niven will have your number (as she has mine).

I also just read Lyonne Riley’s It’s Not the Size that Matters from the upcoming Folds monster romance anthology! I won't spoil it except to say that it’s size difference in a whole new way.🧚I can’t wait to read the rest of the stories in the collection, which are sure to be equally fun and inventive takes on the "cringey" theme. (Personally, I love the word folds, sorry not sorry if you see it often in my books 🤭)

Have a great weekend full of great stories!

Love,

Sara
