I’m so glad people are loving this slightly off-kilter take on fated mates! It was really fun writing a heroine who is a little bit like me: mid-40s, perimenopausal, and watching my kids outgrow the need for my constant attention…although thankfully, Mr. Hill is nothing like Julia’s husband, Richard! 😂

The part I wish was like my real life: Julia’s incredible friends who live across the cul-de-sac. I have some wonderful friends, but they are scattered across the globe. In an ideal world, we could live across the street from each other and hang out more in person! I also wish I had Julia's singing voice. Alas, mine is more like Ian's howl. 😭

I just picked up Ainsley Booth's new hockey romance, Pucking Inconvenient. Ainsley's other hockey series, Off the Ice, is hands down my favorite hockey series of all time, so I know this one is going to be a banger.
