I have been sitting on a big secret project. It’s been killing me keeping quiet about it.

But I finally get to share it with you!

Today’s the cover reveal for…a brand new Salt Planet Giants special edition!

What’s so special about this book? (I mean, besides this amazing cover designed by Daqri Bernardo of Covers by Combs!)

Well, for a few months, I’ve spent my evenings drawing thirteen brand new illustrations for the stories, including a map of Salaan and chapter headers. I drew them digitally, but I was inspired by the black-and-white linocuts that illustrated some of my favorite childhood fairytales.

I look forward to sharing some of the images (and their spicy alternative versions) with you over the coming weeks!

It's a biiiig book.

The special edition includes all three Salt Planet Giants novels (The Mountain’s Mate, The Ballast’s Bride, and The Ruin’s Revenge), and comes in at 543 delicious pages of giant boyfriends.

Here’s a little treat…a drawing of Alrek and Raina that didn’t make it into the book, with a little color commentary from yours truly. This is inspired by the scene where he helps her drink from a cask of beer, and it spills all over her clothes, so he loans her his tunic.

I’m currently drafting Saved by Starlight and…this one’s not a cinnamon roll, folks. I know we’ve had a few sons of Chanísh in a row who are sweet and gooey on the inside, but Lyro is not. He’s the villain, and he knows it.

(As Delphie mentions in her book, Sparked by Starlight, there's no one more dramatic than an alien king who needs to come, LOL!)
