First, though, an update on my writing!

I’m in the midst of editing Fated Late, which turned out a little longer than I expected! As you can guess from the series title, Complicated Mates, they have a few more obstacles to work through than the typical couple (e.g. Julia's pesky human husband!).

Speaking of her husband, I’ve had a few people ask me if there is cheating in the book. The answer is a little complicated, too. Cheating is referenced (happens off page, side characters), but the main characters do not cheat.

Is that due to a technicality for the purposes of storytelling? Maybeeee… but Julia is loyal to a fault. She keeps her promises, even if they are to people who don’t deserve it. That includes her marriage vows. I hope that clears things up!

If you have more detailed questions about the infidelity content, don’t hesitate to email me (you can reply to this email or message me on Instagram). I’m happy to answer them, just trying to avoid spoilers for those who don’t want them. I promise, the book is sweet and cozy despite the messy situation! 🤭

WHAT I'M READING RIGHT NOW

I just reread Captivated, a rom com by Tessa Bailey and Eve Dangerfield. This one's an old favorite of mine. She has fantasies of being held captive by her intimidating landlord. He indulges those fantasies. It's pretty great if you like that kind of thing (I do, obviously).
