Hi !

I’m writing this on the darkest day of the year in the northern hemisphere. I’m not the kind of person who has bad years or even bad days, but I have to say…2023 kicked my ass. It’s hard to point at one cause and I won’t bore you with an exhaustive list, but a lot of things went down in my personal life and many of my big plans were derailed.

But rather than getting caught up in regret over neglected friendships, postponed adventures, and unwritten stories, I’m trying to be grateful that every day going forward this winter will be a little bit lighter. A little bit longer, with a little more time for me to do the things I want to do. I hope you're feeling that way about the future, too.

I did some planning for 2024 last weekend, and I’m pretty excited about what’s ahead. I have included some realistic goals and some wild fantasies, for sure. Basically, next year is for fulfilling my promises and indulging in some of my weirder ideas. I’m so grateful that you’re along for the ride!
