Dear ,
I wanted to reach out to those who agreed to beta read for me first, before I make a general announcement.
After several months of struggle dealing with alpha feedback and weighing several other factors, I've decided to postpone Finding the Dragon, likely until next year. In the practical sense, this means dealing with Amazon over the pre-order, rescheduling with the narrator, etc. But in the personal sense, it also means that I let down the folks who so generously agreed to beta read for me. For that, I am truly very sorry.
This is not an indefinite delay, just a need to step back and let the project rest while I focus on another with looming deadlines.
When Finding the Dragon is fixed and ready for beta readers again, I will be reaching out first to those who had already agree to read it. If you would not like me to reach back out to you then, I understand. Please just shoot me a quick reply letting me know, and I'll remove you from the list. Otherwise, you will have first dibs on reading the book in its beta form, as well as a signed paperback of the final product.
Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment I have caused.
Sincerely,
Sara Cleveland
