It's that time again. Time for lingering pumpkin spice, turkey and frantic novel writing! For NaNoWriMo this year I decided to take on writing book 2 of the Woodland Curses series instead of wrapping up Penelope's Dragon. This means a couple of things: Cursed Magic will be getting out into the world a lot sooner than I imagined... and Finding the Dragon won't. I know there's some folks really looking forward to the latter, so I hope this news isn't too disappointing.
As of the time of this newsletter, the first draft for Cursed Magic is just shy of 9000 words and going really well!
On a personal note, this month happens to include my birthday. I plan on getting a nice cheesecake and writing 3000 words to celebrate. After I do my Black Friday shopping and put up the Christmas tree, of course! What do you like to do for your birthday?
Courting the Dragon Audiobook Update
Production is well underway for the audiobook edition of Courting the Dragon. It should be available from Audible and iTunes in early December. I have also signed an agreement for the production of Bared Magic as an audiobook! Narrator Harry Frost will be recording it later this this month. Details on the release date should be in the December newsletter!
