Dear Astrology Learner,
Happy Makar Sankranti from Saptarishis Astrology.
Makara Sankranti marks an important shift in astrology—the day the Sun enters Capricorn, ruled by Saturn. This event also marks the beginning of Uttarāyaṇa. Classical texts like the Sūrya Siddhānta associate Uttarāyaṇa with spiritual ascent, clarity, and growth. Time itself becomes more supportive for progress—both material and spiritual.
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn—the planet of karma, effort, patience, and justice. When the Sun enters Saturn’s sign, ego is tempered, and sustained effort is rewarded.
On this Auspicious day, we are starting the Ultra Beginners Batch in Hindi. The Ultra Beginners Hindi class will be conducted every Wednesday at 9 PM starting today.

Powerful Makara Sankranti Remedy :
On January 14, the Sun enters Capricorn and Uttarayana begins. This shift starts after 3:00 PM, when the Sun fully settles into Saturn’s sign. You can do this remedy after 3:00 PM. Take white Sesame seeds and chant Vishnu Sahasranama or any mantra that you chant on daily basis. If chanting Vishnu Sahasranama, take one sesame seed for each name. Once done, take those seeds and immerse it in flowing water before sunset or next morning before sunrise.
Sesame is ruled by Saturn and using white sesame on this day gives Akṣaya Puṇya—results that do not run out.
In the evening, light a sesame oil lamp under a peepal tree and make sure its lit until next day morning.
Makara Sankranti reminds us that true growth is not sudden—it is cultivated. As the Sun enters Saturn’s realm, we are invited to choose patience over haste, effort over impulse, and purpose over comfort.
