Issue #01  ·  Monday, April 20, 2026  ·  Vaishakha Shukla Tritiya, 2082

Dear Seekers — Jyotish is not fortune-telling. It is the map of your karma. Read it well.

Sutra of the Week
न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते।
न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते।
na hi jñānena sadṛśaṃ pavitram iha vidyate

Nothing in this world purifies like knowledge.

Every technique Sunil John teaches is a key — but only a prepared mind can turn it in the lock. This week we study timing: not prediction for its own sake, but self-correction through karmic clarity.

BSP 34 — Saturn Implements in the 32nd Year
BSP 34 — Saturn Implements in the 32nd Year

Saturn powerfully delivers the results of the house it occupies — or the 10th house from itself — in the native's 32nd year. Concentrated, often dramatic. This is karma's scheduled delivery, not a slow unfolding.

Count from birth. The 32nd year = between the 31st and 32nd birthday. Events carry full weight of Saturn's placement plus its kakshya lord (the planet ruling Saturn's sub-division), which colours the nature of delivery.
The 10th house from Saturn is equally activated. Saturn in 3H? The 12th house fires. Saturn in 5H? The 2nd house fires. Map it in your own chart first — the pattern becomes unmistakeable.

The kakshya lord colours the event. Venus kakshya → relationship change. Mars kakshya → surgery, accident, confrontation. Jupiter kakshya → children, wisdom, legal matters. Always identify it before predicting.

""Saturn does not punish — it implements. In the 32nd year, it delivers what was always written.""

Retrograde Planets — The Houses They Own Are Karmic
Retrograde Planets — The Houses They Own Are Karmic
When a planet is retrograde, the houses it owns become the most karmic zones of the chart — sites of either dramatic excellence or dramatic suffering. Retrogression concentrates unfinished business from past lives into those exact life areas.

When a planet is retrograde, the houses it owns become the most karmic zones of the chart — sites of either dramatic excellence or dramatic suffering. Retrogression concentrates unfinished business from past lives into those exact life areas.

Step 1: Identify the retrograde planet. Step 2: Note every house it owns — these become the karmic arenas of the lifetime. Expect extreme events, memorable for better or worse, especially during that planet's dasha.

Example — Mars retrograde owning 3H and 8H: The native carries extraordinary talent in 3H matters (hands, sport, courage) while simultaneously facing dramatic 8H events — surgeries, inheritance disputes, deep secrets. Both houses are intensified, not just afflicted.

Example — Saturn retrograde in 4H owning 7H and 8H (Cancer Lagna): Marriage is deeply karmic. What is built either endures as lasting legacy or dissolves without explanation. The native cannot escape either outcome — both are written.

Remedy of the Week
Sade Sati Relief — Mahamrityunjaya Japa
Sade Sati Relief — Mahamrityunjaya Japa

Sade Sati — Saturn's 7.5-year transit over the natal Moon — is one of the most misunderstood periods in Jyotish. It is not punishment; it is purification. But the weight of Saturn's gaze upon the Moon can constrict the mind, cloud decisions, and delay what was rightfully earned. The classical antidote is the Mahamrityunjaya mantra — 108 repetitions daily, ideally at brahma muhurta, 90 minutes before sunrise. Hold a rudraksha mala. Face east or north. Do not rush the count — let the mantra breathe. For those in the middle phase of Sade Sati, when Saturn sits directly on the natal Moon, increase to 324 repetitions on Saturdays. Continue without interruption for the duration of the transit. Source: Brihat Jataka Ch. 8.
