daily life

what a week. i did my usual radio show, filmed the final episode of Paik-jong won Class, and had some very fruitful meetings. it feels amazing to be done with a season of television; it was a fun ride but reality cooking shows are not really my Zone Of Competence.

thanks to my friend Sean, this week i also met David, founder of Hilokal. it’s a mobile app that merges language exchange with Clubhouse. you can join “rooms” and talk to people in your target language. very neat.

my photo/film studio is also picking up traction, with ~10 reservations this week alone. my partner and i are still building SOPs to manage the space, but for now we take turns ‘resetting’ the space between customers. soon we’ll hire a part-timer to further automate operations.

일상 생활

이번주 좋았다. 늘 그렇듯이 라디오, 백종원 클라쓰 촬영했는데 백종원 프로그램은 마지막 에피소드였어요. 그 외에는 생산적인 미팅이 많았어요. 솔직히 티비 고정 출연자의 생활은 힘들어요. 난 탤런트 아니라 -- 음악가예요. 아무튼 끝나서 후련해요.

제 션 파블로라는 친구를 통해서 HiLokal이라는 언어교환 앱의 창업자를 만났어요. 이제 운전이나 다른 것들 할 때 써요. 재미있어요!

이번주 화이트 스튜디오의 달력은 고객 10명 정도 있어서 예약, 관리 체계를 만들고 있고 곧 아르바이트를 고용할 것 같아요.

Sunday - shot a duet of Yellow Hearts (Ant Saunders) with my friend Renée.

Tuesday - launched my first NFT collection, Gimbap, and sold out in < 24 hours.

Wednesday - began learning about DeFi through Cathryn’s course, invested $20k to see how it works.

Thursday - received final album artwork from my designer. see how everything connects here.

Friday - sales at Yangmal, my Korean board game, are now daily and predictable. we also launched a new product.

화요일 - NFT 아세요? 몇 주 전에 저도 잘 몰랐지만 이번 주 잠깐 연구하고 김밥이라는 콜렉션을 출시했어요! 약 하루 내로 다 팔려서 뿌듯해요.

수요일 - 또 다른 크립토 관련 콘셉트, DeFi <decentralized finance> 아세요? 제 친구가 만든 온라인 수업을 사고 듣기 시작했어요. 실험으로 2천만원정도 투자하고 많이 배우고 있어요.

목요일 - 제 외국인이라는 앨범 아트를 받았어요. 여기서 볼 수 있어요.

금요일 - 저희 양말장난 보드 게임의 이익은 차근차근 늘어나고 있어요. 새로 “사자성어 컵받침" 상품도 업로드했어요.
