daily life

ever since my 2nd retirement i’ve been testing the “batch work” concept to its limits. in my implementation this means letting emails pile up for weeks, then replying to all of them at 3am on a Friday night. this was one of those weeks.

일상 생활

저는 은퇴한 후로 “몰아서 작업”이라는 콘셉트로 자주 일해요. 실용적인 관점으로 제 일상생활은 그냥 이메일이 쌓이게 두고 아무 금요일 새벽 3시에 이메일에 빠르게 답장해요. 이번 주가 그런 주예요.

projects

unlike my daily life, this week saw massive movement in several projects:

• [audience] recorded a new Korean video, “In Defense of the Imperial Measurement System” (coming soon)
• [investing] sent my younger brother to Las Vegas to help me find a house to buy
• [media] interview prep for next week’s radio co-host appearance
• [revenue] office space outreach (to build my own crypto mining data center)
• [influence] collaborated with a team to launch a new online course
• [drum lessons] started learning to play a full song (Time Is Running Out) vs practice drills

사이드 프로젝트

일상생활 외에는 이번 주에 몇 프로젝트를 진짜로 진행했어요:

• [생각나눔] “야드파운드법 방어"라는 유튜브 비디오를 촬영했어요 (곧 올릴게요)
• [투자하기] 남동생이 저를 도와 투자할 집을 찾으려고 Las Vegas에서 비행기 표 및 숙소를 예약했어요
• [미디어] 다음주의 라디오 쇼 인터뷰를 준비했어요
• [매출] 제 데이터 센터 짓는 것을 위해 어떤 상가, 반지하 사무실을 둘러봤어요
• [개인 브랜딩] 팀이랑 온라인 수업 계획을 세웠어요
• [드럼 레슨] 기초적인 연습 말고 드디어 “시간이 없다”라는 진짜 노래를 배우기 시작했어요

• this Sunday - going to “Everland,” Korea’s largest amusement park
• next Tuesday - co-hosting the UNCODED show on TBS eFM
• next Wednesday - posting 1-2 new YouTube videos
• next Thursday - performing at Cafe Unplugged

• 화요일 - TBS eFM 라디오 쇼 공동사회 하기
