Hi ,I just wanted to share with you WHY I created the Generation Regeneration summit, and why I am so passionate about Permaculture.

Last year, the world changed, COVID 19 came into our lives and homes and the way we behaved has fundamentally shifted.

For many people in developed countries we had the first experience of thinking what happens if the supermarket runs out of food. How will I feed my family? In many cases we have been trained to be part of a system that ultimately benefits a small number of wealthy individuals and companies.

Those companies and individuals have created a system which leads us to dependence on them. They have also trained us to be hyper consumers at the expense of our planet.

However last year many people woke up! We became aware that we wanted to change the system and to take back control, control of our own destiny and food supply.

Permaculture is not a new fashionable thing, its been around as a name since the late 1970's and its practices are based on sustainable regenerative agricultural methods going back millennia. It works, we can create a sustainable regenerative world and fix all the mess we have created within one generation if we become the majority.

By taking a permaculture course you too can learn how to create food resilience in your own grow space and take back control.

Every day people are contacting me sharing their success stories and I will do my best to share some of these stories with you in future Generation Regeneration Summits, because once you are awake, you need to know that your not alone, being a leader can be lonely, but you are not alone! We are Generation Regeneration. Be the change you want to see!

When I was sitting alone in my farm in rural Colombia last October 2020, in my hut made from clay and with a palm roof, with the heavy rain and thunder and lightning all around me. I knew I wanted to connect with other people. Other people who wanted to know, we are not alone and yes we can co-create the world we want. That is my WHY, I am so glad that I have connected with you and look forward to growing our bond.
