It's officially British Summer Time and after the glorious sunshine in Norfolk this weekend I thought I would drop into your inbox with a few springtime safety tips.

As the flowers begin to bloom and the temperatures rise, we want to make sure your playful pup stays safe and healthy through the season. Here are some tips to enjoy the springtime without any worries:

• Watch out for potentially toxic plants for your four-pawed friend, and keep them away. Here's a list of plants to look out for...

• Seasonal allergies can affect our dogs too, but don't worry a chat with your veterinarian will go a long way to provide a solution. Do you think your dog gets hayfever? Read this
