Deb and I recently spent a weekend in San Antonio meeting our publishers and other authors. The riverwalk is a little touristy, but we enjoyed it. We also checked out the Alamo where my ancestor, David (not Davey) Crockett, died.

Argren Blue continues to rack up honors. The most recent is the short list for the Chanticleer Int'l Book Awards.

What We're Reading

I'm reading The City we Became by N.K. Jemison, who is a giant in speculative fiction. I'll let you know what I think when I'm done.


I've also started The Great Change by Joe Abercrombie. I'm a huge Abercrombie fan and, so far, it's living up to my expectations.


What We're Writing

Deb and I are working on the second draft of Desulti, the sequel to Argren Blue. The publisher expects the finished manuscript March 1, 2024. No pressure yet, but I feel its specter.

I'm also working through the final draft of Spirit Light Vol. 1.
