Yes? No? Maybe?

If you're reading this, it means 3 conditions have been met.

  1. You feel like you know me enough.
  2. You kinda like what I have to say.
  3. You trust my views and want to hear more.

Summarized. I have built a relationship with you.

And 1000+ other people using the same conversations.

The bridge you crossed from Twitter or LinkedIn to my email newsletter is the hardest and most important step you've taken to go from being part of my social audience to now being part of my community.

If you clicked on the button at the top of this email and signed up to Voiceblasts, you've now officially joined my community.

This is, in a nutshell, the foundation for building communities on the internet, similar to software, you write code once and deploy to millions of people.

With communities, you figure out how to build a good relationship with one person in your niche and then scale that using content.

To get really successful at this, you have to develop 3 core skills.

  1. Get comfortable with talking to strangers.
  2. Get great at listening and be genuinely curious about other people.
  3. Get great at distilling your ideas and communicating them using a content medium that comes naturally to you.

The rest is just tips, tools, strategies, content planning and a dozen other frameworks and approaches used to actually build your community.

As a founder you should strongly consider building your community. Bringing your people together has so many positive benefits. I'll lay my case in another email.

That's it for this week . Bye πŸ‘‹πŸΎ.
