FOR DRIVEN TO THE MOUNTAIN
BY ROCKLYN RYDER
Hello Team!
I am super excited to get the ARC copy of Driven to the Mountain out today!
This is Current and Ginger's story, the second book of the Jones Brothers on Moonshine Ridge.
You might remember getting a hint about them from the second epilogue of Surrendering to the Mountain Man, which was Cedar and Cami's story.
Current Jones
It's the biggest news on the ridge since Birch McAllister cleared his family name: one of the shops downtown got rented.
Moonshine Ridge is a tight community. We like to think we're welcoming, but opening a new business in a town where no one knows you? That's a recipe for failure in a place that tends to support its own.
The truth is, you'd be best to establish some local connections that can vouch for you if you want to be successful up on the ridge.
So, when I get my first look at the woman standing on a ladder with a paint roller in her hand, I tell myself my intentions are purely neighborly; that the soft curves and determined spirit that have me out of my mind with need have nothing to do with spending all my time helping her to get her brewery up and running.
I'm going to make sure Ginger's new business is a success here on the ridge and then I'm going to claim her soft body and make her mine, because I knew the moment I laid eyes on her that the real reason Ginger was driven to the mountain was to be my wife.
***
Welcome to Moonshine Ridge and the rugged wilderness surrounding the remote mountain community where the history is long, the local lore is deep, and the men are as wild as the mountains they come from.
Protective, possessive, totally obsessed; the men of Moonshine Ridge will do anything necessary to claim the women they love and give her the happily ever after she deserves.
The Moonshine Ridge books contain a lot of insta-love, some swearing, some steamy scenes, zero cheating, and a lot of swoon-worthy happy endings. They're interconnected with recurring characters but can be read as stand-alones in any order.
This one is another on-the-sweeter side-- these Jones boys are just too darn cute! (No worries, eldest boy, Rapid, is next in line and he's growlier.)
Also, for those of you who wonder how so many mountain men snag virgins-- not every mountain man wants one! And this and our next book feature experienced women.
The ARC download is available till July 5th, but I won't be giving you that much time before I'm back with review links-- I hope to have this book available on Amazon this weekend!
It's been a week since my last internet connection and I still have a lot of online chores to do, like checking my email!
Thank you guys so much for all your help with these reviews! The Moonshine Ridge books have been doing well so far and I'm excited to keep writing them.
The Diaz family and the Harts are still in line for their own happy-ever-afters. Both those families have daughters in them, and the Diaz girls have been pestering me to get to them! I can't wait, those girls are feisty!
And I have plans for what comes after these four families as well!
