INSTA-LOVE ROMANCE FROM ROCKLYN RYDERimage

Hey team!

OK. First thing's first-- the Moonshine Ridge series divided opinions pretty evenly with some who loved it and some who (cough cough) didn't.

And while my delicate author ego had to take a day to eat cookies and cry on a friend's shoulder, the truth is that I was expecting it.

So, as promised to several people who should not receive this email, I have split my ARC team mailing list into segments of people who didn't hate it vs people who did. Guess which one you are?

Well, if you HATED Trusting the Mountain Man or already know you're not a fan of over-the-top insta-love in general, you should scroll down and unsubscribe from this list. Or just hit reply and let me know you want out and I'll do it for you.

If you unsubscribe from this email, you will STILL BE ON both my regular ARC team AND my regular mailing list. So you're not in danger of never hearing from me again...unless you never want to hear from me again in which case, hit reply, let me know and I'll make sure you're off ALL the lists! (Then I will eat more cookies and be sad.)

NOW THAT THE BUSINESS PART IS TAKEN CARE OF

The next Moonshine Ridge book is ready-- a little later than hoped. I spent several hours at the last minute getting schooled on the genealogy in the book and had to do some rewrites. Then, naturally, there were formatting nightmares to cope with.

Honestly, it's a wonder there are any cookies left at all.

Birch McAllister:

Gossip and lore run deep in places like Moonshine Ridge, where the families that live here go back as far as the town itself.

Magnolia came here asking questions that I'd rather not know the answers to.

Her distant aunt-- a mail order bride that arrived in the 1800s with a contract to marry my own ancestor-- disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and my family name has had a shadow hanging over it ever since.

As soon as I lay eyes on the innocent young newcomer to town with her soft curves and big blue eyes, I know she's mine. So I can't turn her down when she wants me to help her discover the truth that links our family history.

The only family history I want to talk about is the one I plan on making with Maggie and the babies I'm aching to put in her belly.

If Magnolia finds out that several generations of local gossip is true will she still want me, or will she leave Moonshine Ridge and forever associate the McAllister name with murder?

***

Call it insta-love, but the men of Moonshine Ridge fall fast, hard, and forever.

They don't cheat, and they don't wait when they know they've found the right one.

Filthy-sweet happily ever afters in bite-sized stories, some swearing, lots of steam, and always a happy ending.

I can tell you that book 2 of the new Moonshine Ridge series is less over-the-top but no less insta-love. It'll introduce you to more of the McAllister family and the town of Moonshine Ridge.

It's a short read that can be finished in less than an hour and half.

Thank you so much for your participation in the review process!

I'm always open to feedback (just put in a cookie warning at the beginning so I can have them ready) the insta-love genre is my catnip as a reader but it's been a challenge as an author and I'd love input on how to make it ring the right bells if you happen to love it too.
