Actual writing caves are kinda cold

Growing up in California, basements were rare. So the new homebase captured my imagination immediately, with it's creepy cement steps into the abyss under the house.
Unfortunately, it's an unfinished, cement cavern that isn't even a big, empty room that could be finished out at some point.
There's barely enough space to hide the bodies-- ahem-- I mean, hide away to write. (I told BFF that I'm going to sink eye-bolts into the concrete and get some Halloween skeletons to put down there.)
Maybe I'll use it as my writing cave next summer when it climbs into the 90s ( high 30s for you Celsius types) but fall just fell hard on us here in this part of Nevada and it's cold down there.
And that is this week's excuse for not having a new release announcement!
The rewrite of Cowboy's Temporary Solution is coming along much better, btw!
While I work on that, I'm working on another project on the side and should have at least one of those things done for you next week.
Or, I'll come up with another excuse for not having my projects done. Either way is a fun creative exercise for me, so let's see what happens.
Here's another photo of Comet A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS,) like you haven't been bombarded with a gazillion images already. But hey! This one was taken by me! Which is probably why it's slightly out of focus. But just a tad.
The whole reason I own the fancy camera I currently have is because I did not get good pictures of the comet Neowise back in 2020-- I had a DSLR, but its strength was definitely not night-time photography.
I also have a bad-ass film camera...if it was 1985. (It's a Canon A-1: I have it because I used to date a photographer-- sigh-- but I got to keep the camera and it's really been the better deal. I also have a really good picture of my boobs when I was 19...again...sigh.)
So, I figured I better get out to the dark of the desert and redeem myself by getting photos of A3.
I'm not impressed with myself, but at least I can say I saw it!
How about you? There's been a lot going on in the night sky lately to take pictures of-- have you captured anything good?
