Confession time: Augustus Damiani just refused to get in line with the whole mountain man persona. You'll see what I mean. There's precious little grunting and he speaks in complete sentences-- he even shaved since the first time Zephyr saw him.

It's like he didn't get the memo on being a mountain man at all.

But he swears in Italian, so Zephyr and I are both cutting him some slack. (Spoiler alert: No actual Italian swearing is included, I didn't have a reliable source for interpreting what he said.)

Zephyr's brother, Cane, makes a couple of brief appearances in her book though, and he is very good at speaking fluid grunt and scowl. So it all balances out.

All that said, I'm thrilled to have Zephyr and Augustus's book ready for you a full day early!

It's about to go up on pre-order (you guys come first!) with a May 29 release date, so you'll be hearing from me again next Wednesday morning reminding you to leave reviews.
