You Know me Better Than That

I mean...if you're new to my books and/or new to my newsletter, maybe you don't. In which case-- just trust me.
I've been hiding in the writing cave, pretending not to notice the outside world, and working on Ranger O'Leary's and Serenity's book: The Cowboy's Temporary Solution.
It's a light-hearted little fake dating trope story and I'm having a ton of fun writing it.
I'm just a little worried about this one little thing...which is why I'm asking you to trust me.
There's the teensiest matter of a side character that's going to look like a whole lotta "OWD" (other woman drama-- for everyone else like me who reads comments on posts and wonders what the heck those abbreviations mean;) and I'm just handing out the spoiler alert right now...trust me!
Bernie started off as cliche OWD, but then I got to know her better and now I'm really pretty fond of her, but you'll have to give her some grace and get through the end of the book (It's almost done, really. Pay no attention to the crossed fingers behind my back!) to see for yourself.
The truth is that I'm just as distracted by world events as most people are, and it's definitely slowing me down. But I'm still going. There are too many imaginary people in my head screaming to tell their stories for me to stop now.
So I'll be back next week with an update on The Cowboy's Temporary Solution and maybe even a release date.
Remember: Bernie isn't the other woman drama she appears to be! Trust me.
Meanwhile...here in northern Nevada: the weather warmed up for a few days and, like the groundhog, I came out of my burrow to check for my shadow.
The Bestie has been hard at work on house remodels-- we almost have a kitchen now-- and I've been hard at work on projects in the little camper trailer.
I upgraded my 12 volt refrigerator and that means I also have to upgrade the pull out shelf it sits on. That means upgrading the full extension slides on the shelf and that means...well. It means a lot of curse words because building what is, essentially, a drawer, requires more precision than anything else I had to build.
It also requires a lot of crawling around on the floor and under the cabinet and that just reminds me that I'm much older than I think I am.
I should be back to the travels soon-- with more freezer space.
