ARC for Trusting the Mountain Man

Ash McAllister

My brothers and I grew up right here in Moonshine Ridge, running as wild as the mountains we live in. As an experienced part of the local volunteer rescue and recovery crew, I've recovered more than one vehicle that wasn't equipped for the four by four trails that wind through the rugged landscape. But when I pull a terrified young woman from a river crossing gone wrong, I know I'll never be able to let the curvy beauty go.

Hyacinth is new to more than the outdoors and when she trusts me to teach her about more than camping, I make sure she knows she's mine forever.

***

Call it insta-love, but the men of Moonshine Ridge fall fast, hard, and forever.

They don't cheat, and they don't wait when they know they've found the right one.

Filthy-sweet happily ever afters in bite-sized stories, some swearing, lots of steam, and always a happy ending.

Of course, you should click that link and grab your early edition copy so you can be ready to leave a review when it goes live on April 14.

This is the first time ever that I have put up a book on pre-order and I admit to being nervous about it. I've heard so many tales of misery from other authors who have had glitches with the process.

Second: I know that several of my advanced review readers also review for other authors and I am seeking your input on ways I can improve my process.

Would it be easier if I send the download links directly from Bookfunnel? Would you prefer I used a totally different platform for delivering ARCs? Would you just like me to get my act together and release books on a consistent schedule so these emails aren't random surprised popping up in your mailbox when you have other books to review?

Please let me know!

Third: The Moonshine Ridge books are hella good fun to write! LOL! They are short, dirty, over the top stories with all the fun you normally find in this sub-genre of romance and they reflect the fact that my own Kindle app has been non-stop Hope Ford, Olivia T. Turner, Frankie Love (of course,) and Sadie King (a new fave) for months now.

But I do feel they are a slight departure from what I've written in the past. So I'm nervous about that too-- and totally dying to hear if you love 'em or hate 'em.

One more thing: This hobo nomad life has wrought havoc on my release plans for this new series. I'm not all fancy like the Youtuber vanlifers with their expensive satellite internet, and the last few weeks have been a frustrating discovery that my phone often claims to have very good cellular and data signal...but doesn't.

Being offline is great for writing-- but it's bad for getting that writing edited, formatted, uploaded, and available. This is a problem that I'm still in the process of working out, but I thought I'd keep you posted on that bit of behind-the-scenes shenanigans as it might affect my ability to properly follow up on reviews and such.

OK! That's the important stuff!

I hope you enjoy the quick story, the next three in the McAllister men series will be hitting your inboxes very soon! (Like before the end of the month soon!) So stay tuned!

Thank you so much for all your help!
