The time has come! Hayle Hart has his HEA!
Hayle's story wraps up the Mountain Men of Moonshine Ridge saga I mean series. So for anyone who's been holding off, it's safe to binge the whole darn thing now. Estimated time....around 29 hours.
I swore I'd never come back to Moonshine Ridge. but my baby sister is getting married and since we lost our father when she was just a baby, I've always promised I'd be the one to walk her down the aisle.
Checking into my room at the newly renovated ski resort, owned by one of the few people left around here that's willing to welcome me back, all I'm thinking about is how soon I can get back off this mountain.
When I see the curvy ski instructor that works at the resort, it might as well be another punch to face; because there's not a doubt in my mind that January Quinn is mine...and there's not a hope in my heart that I can have her.
This mountain community is Jan's whole life now, but the small town I grew up in is a better place without me in it.
I wish I was still the guy that could break promises as easily as I could break the seal on a new bottle, because the Ridge isn't home any more and it doesn't want me back.
I may have managed to crawl my way out of the bottle, but January is proving to be an addiction I don't have the strength to walk away from.
99 cents and Free in Kindle Unlimited!
Next, we'll be moving down the mountain to Slow River Valley for some cowboy/rancher romance, but we'll be back up to Moonshine Ridge before too long.
Well, I'm back in the Pacific time zone! I rolled across the Utah/Nevada state line around 6:30 p.m. on Monday night after seven hours of driving; topped off the gas tank with some truly "middle of nowhere" priced gas and settled into a campsite by 7 o'clock. <-- not adjusting for the time zone change, btw.
I met a certified "cool chick" at that campground that shared her campfire-- and some truly excellent Scotch-- with me before I had to move on closer to civilization for interneting.
I've got a to-do list about six miles long for August, including tackling some of my own TBR list and finally getting around to writing a couple of Moonshine Ridge bonus scenes that have been on the back burner for too long.
Expect the first of the Slow River Valley Ranches series to drop in September!
