I can't believe I finally get to send this out to you, but here it is-- the newest book in the Modern Match-Maker series is DONE!

This book gave me a lot of sass: none of my books ever go the way I intend when I first sit down with a story in my head, but this book really went off the rails. Several times.

It did, finally, end up coming together and I'm pleased (and a bit surprised) to say I think it came out OK in the end.

If you are interested in providing a early review for A Promising Beginning, you can grab a copy of the ARC right here.

If you are new (or rusty) to my review process, please check out the "How it Works" section below.

Hunter never expected he'd need to take advantage of the clause in his father's will that gives him full control of the family corporation. Until he discovers that his uncle, the man who helped build the business, has mismanaged the company to the point that it might not exist by the time Hunter inherits it on his 40th birthday.

When attempts to contest the will fail, Hunter's left with no other choice— he needs a wife, whether he wants one or not.

Carissa's been dreaming of happily ever after since she was a girl and she signed up with moderns day match-maker, Raven Swann, years ago. Just when it looks like her match has been made, she gets hit with the truth: Hunter isn't proposing marriage, so much as he's proposing a business arrangement.

But when Carissa's sister needs financial help, Carissa agrees to Hunter's offer.

They may have agreed on a marriage of convenience, but Hunter and Cari can't deny their chemistry.

When the terms of the deal are met, will they be able to shake hands and walk away? Or will they realize that their match-maker was right all along?

My ARC copies go out rough. This book has had a thorough read through and a first pass of edits and proof-reads, but it will continue to go through another pass while you are reading this advanced copy.

Please keep this in mind when considering your review: I ask that you review the story, not the editing.

When the book is available on Amazon, I will send out an email with links to the places where you can leave your review.

After your review is live, please send me a screen shot or a link to the review or a pink swear promise that you really did leave a review so that I can keep track of who is following through on the process.

*I am an impatient author-- books normally get uploaded to Amazon within a few days of ARC copies being distributed. Fortunately, I don't write very long books so it probably won't take long to read. Please try to get reviews posted within 30 days.

That's about it. Thank you so much for being part of this important process.
