When Two became Three

What a weekend I've had!

Meat Market hit the top spot in both the US and UK in the comedy fiction categories, from that I've had a bunch of new readers emailing me saying hi (which is always nice), and most importantly it is only a few days until my birthday! Whoop Whoop.

Apparently I'm 41 this time around, but I demand a recount. These calendars are starting to take the piss.

To celebrate another year passing I'll be heading out to Ireland for a few days for a chill, but knowing the Irish and the fact there are many pubs on our doorstop when arrive in the Emerald Isle, a relax might have to take a back burner, there will be drinking to be done.

Before I head off though, I will be launching a Kickstarter campaign for book 3 in the Lad-Lit series, Barman.

Barman is without a doubt my favourite Rob Radcliffe novel I've written. It is a little darker than Meat Market and Escorting Eric, but not without its light hearted funny moments.

Barman is about the nameless "Barman" who is at the end of all hope in this life and is in the middle of ending it, but we don't know why.

I know right..well, I told you it was dark.

We then skip back to six months previously when things are looking on the up for Barman, and so to and fro we hop from now to then, bringing us closer to the reason why. Along the way there are plenty of laughs and a few tears (I always like to mix it up and toy with your emotions) until we arrive at the why.

This book really is an emotional rollercoaster and I'm proud to say it even made my 88 year old grandmother shed a tear at the end...I'm sure if she's reading this email (which she undoubtedly will) she'll have a chuckle at being name dropped.

For Barman's kickstarter campaign, I've gone all out this time and got goodies made. Mugs, coasters, t-shirts, caps, beanies, hoodies...and I may add to that if readers request other stuff too. On top of this, are of course the signed paperbacks and hardbacks, and also the ebooks available.

It is going to be a lot of fun and I invite you to check the campaign page out, (Make sure you hit the Notify Me On Launch button to be kept in the loop).

The campaign starts in February 1st and will run for 30 days. Any pledges received are not paid until after the campaign ends, so there is no need to worry there.

I am also going to be running a special offer where the more you share on your socials, the more chances you could have to win a top tier for free! Thats all the signed hardbacks and swag just for telling people about the kickstarter.

Pretty cool, right?

Check out my Barman Kickstarter Campaign Page below, and don't forget to hit the button.

In other news, R.J Radcliffe will be revived pretty soon.

The pen name I write my Divine Chronicle Series under is coming back and I have plenty in store for those who enjoy a good sci-fi/fantasy read.

I am busy working on a Peter Pan retelling as we speak, which will ultimately kick off a new dark fairytale series...with a twist, as always. Gotta love those twists. More on that at a later date.

Right, time for me to get these kids off to bed so I will say a good evening, and enjoy the rest of your week!
