The End Is Near 🗓

How quick did 2023 go? Mental, absolutely mental.
I’ve spent this year thinking long and hard about where I’d like to take my writing moving forward. I’ve been reading a lot on writing/author forums about where the publishing business is heading, and the future looks bright. I’ve also been writing…a lot, I took part in a 100 day writing challenge and also National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) in November, but instead of just putting my books out there and hoping for the best, I’ve been taking my time, working in the background to put a plan in place so that my books will reach more readers.
Firstly, the writing.
As you may know, I write under two pen names. As Rob Radcliffe I write dark comedy/satire/rom-com/lad-lit tales. These read, as one reviewer once said, like a chat with your mate down the pub. They’re nice and easy, occasionally funny, and I always hope entertaining.
At of the time of writing I have 5 books under Rob Radcliffe published.
These are Unleashed, The Race, Meat Market, Escorting Eric, and Barman.
Four of them are part of my Lad-Lit series and Unleashed a compilation of blog posts I’ve written down the years.
Next year I’ll be releasing a hell of a lot more:
The Other Side (Book 4 in the Lad-Lit series)
Tindered (Book 5 in the Lad-Lit series)
Luce and Gabe (Book 6 in the Lad-Lit series)
Tis The f**king Season (a festive Lad-Lit novella)
Checking Out (part 1) a lad-lit spin off novella series
Checking Out (part 2)
Checking Out (part 3)
Checking Out (part 4)
Checking Out (part 5)
Miss Millionaire (book 1 in the millionaire trilogy)
Mr. Millionaire (book 2 in the millionaire trilogy)
Millionaire Maker (book 3 in the millionaire trilogy)
A Diary Of A Serial Killer (new series starter)
It has taken me a while to get through these books, but I’m pleased to say the majority of them are written already. In January I’ll be announcing when these books will be released and I’m pretty excited about it.
I’ll also be opening up something which, until now, has been completely alien to me, and that’s a subscription service.
REAM is the platform I’ve chosen to host this page and it is going to be a lot of fun. It’s a chance to really build a community around my scribbles and, again, will be announced officially in the new year once I’ve ironed out everything and have everything in place.
With the flip of a switch I become an entirely different author, one called R.J Radcliffe who writes about immortality, historical fiction and of course time travel. In a perfect world I’d have all my books under one roof (pen name) but this isn’t that world. Some people like my funnies and have no interest in the immortal time travel stuff, and equally, others favour my Divine Series and aren’t keen on the funnies, which is fine. Everyone has their own opinions, but this has meant I’ve needed to write books under different names.
The R.J Radcliffe pen name is due to be relaunched right at the beginning of the year, with the following books ready to go:
Guardian (book 1 in the Divine Chronicles)
Reaper (book 1.5 in the Divine Chronicles)
Divine (book 2 in the Divine Chronicles)
Healer (book 3 in the Divine Chronicles)
Immortal (book 3.5 in the Divine Chronicles)
And then at Christmas 2024, Evaluation (book 4 in the Divine Chronicles)
As well as these six I am also half way through Lost Boy, the first in a new dark fantasy fairytale retelling which I think will be awesome. Time Keepers, the first in a new time travel adventure series is on the cards too. And also Ouroboros, a standalone novel.
Because I’m a very messy writer I also have Cronos, book 5 in the Divine Chronicles series started and I’ve also begun thinking about book 6 (Dance with the Dragon) and book 7 (Templar). Let’s see what 2024 brings before I commit to writing the latter few.
My R.J Radcliffe Ream page is now up and running, and I’d love for you to take a look around. Following me on this platform is free and I’d be grateful if you would. Of course if you fancy one of the paid tiers, that is also brilliant (obviously). New books and all my chapters from my Works in Progress will be added all the way through December ready for my launch in January. Check it out at: https://reamstories.com/rjradcliffe
It’s time to get my head in the game, and 2024 is my year for doing that.
Have a great…hopefully not too cold December, and any questions or just even to say hi, please reply to this email. It’s always great to hear from you.
Kind regards,
Rob/R.J Radcliffe
