Hi, !
I've officially finished the prequel short story about Leo! And, as a thank you for being a loyal subscriber, I'm giving it to you absolutely free 😊
A rebellious vampire. A dangerous werewolf. A war of demons.
Leo Serrano, a shape-shifting demon, is reckless and irresponsible. Instead of serving his vampire coven, he sneaks out to mingle with the mortals. His father and older brother urge him to join the vampires and accept his role in the coven.
But Leo wants to live his life.
When a werewolf pack threatens the lives of his family, Leo must fight to protect them. His weaknesses and inexperience bring devastating consequences.
Battle rages. Lives are lost. And Leo must accept the life he's run from for years.
Or risk enslaving himself to the wolves forever.
Sucking in a breath, I gathered my shadows around me and shifted to my raven form, bolting toward the sky.
"Stop him!" someone cried beneath me.
Gunshots exploded in the air. I weaved, circling to avoid getting struck. Something hot seared against my wing, and I shrieked, spiraling out of control. I struggled to flap my wings, to fly harder, but one wing wouldn’t move. White hot fire exploded from my right side, and my body shuddered. I shifted back to human form just before crashing to the ground, rolling in the grass of my neighbor’s yard.
Heavy footsteps thundered nearby. Groaning, I staggered to my feet and ran, trying to ignore the splitting pain in my shoulder. Blood seeped through my shirt, and I cradled my arm against my chest as I ran.
