A Sneak Peek, and some FREE fantasy reads!

Hi, !

I'm so grateful to all of you for your support and encouragement! The launch of The Lost Phoenix was a stunning success, and I'm so excited to have published two trilogies 😃 Right now, I'm currently working on writing Book 2 of my next series, the Bloodcaster Chronicles. Book 3 will be next month, and I'm aiming for a launch sometime this summer, so keep your eye out for it! 😊 Here's a sneak peek of what I'm working on right now:

A small pop echoed next to me, and I lurched to my feet so violently the desk almost toppled over. Several stacks of paper fell to the floor, but I ignored them, my heart thundering loudly in my chest.

In front of me, his giant dark wings casting shadows on us, stood Vince.

My pulse roared in my ears. I couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t think.

He was here. With me. Right now.

My throat was dry. My arms felt restless at my side. I felt like I should run to him, but at the same time, I was frozen.

“Vince,” I whispered numbly.

I took in his appearance from his black combat boots to the leather jacket and T-shirt. His hair was shorter than when I last saw him. And a long, thin scar ran from his eye to just above his lip.

The sight stole my breath. This was a warrior, battered by combat.

So different from the Vince I remembered.

“I don’t have much time.” He stepped toward me, his steps loud and commanding. His voice was deeper and gruffer.

“Are you really here?” I asked.

He nodded. “But not in the way you think.”

I frowned, and then comprehension dawned. “You time traveled.”

He nodded again.

Something in me deflated. This wasn’t the Vince I knew. This was Future Vince. Vince from a different timeline.

In other news, I'm participating in another author takeover on Facebook! There will be games and prizes - and I'll be giving away free audio codes for Twisted by Time as well as my entire Nightcaster Trilogy on Kindle! Don't miss out! My segment starts tomorrow (March 19) at 7 pm EST. Join the group here!
