Calling all Southern California leaders, connectors, and do-gooders!

For 75+ years, Diabetes Camping and Educational Services (DCES) has given kids and families living with Type 1 diabetes a place to belong—where they're not defined by their diagnosis, but empowered by community and connection.

Now we're looking for a leader who can take this legacy forward.

What you'll do:

-Serve as the face of the organization—connecting authentically with families, donors, and the community

-Lead fundraising efforts to ensure every kid who needs camp gets to attend

-Grow camper enrollment by building partnerships with hospitals, clinics, and diabetes organizations

-Provide strategic leadership alongside the Board and Executive Camp Director

-Dream up new ways to support families year-round

What makes you perfect for this:

-You've got proven fundraising chops (5+ years or clearly transferable skills)

-You're a natural relationship builder who can rally people around a mission

-You understand budgets, strategy, and what it takes to sustain and grow a nonprofit

-You're passionate about serving kids and families—bonus points if you have a personal connection to T1D or camp life

📍 Hybrid role based in Orange County, CA with access to an office

💰 $100K-$120K + performance bonuses
