A Little Irish Magic ☘️

Since today is St. Patrick’s Day, I thought I’d share one of my favorite memories.

A few years ago, I had the chance to travel to Ireland with my husband when he went there for work. We turned it into a little adventure and spent a few extra days playing tourist together.

One afternoon we visited the Cliffs of Moher. The wind was blustery, the kind that makes you laugh because there’s no point trying to tame your hair. We walked along the cliffs watching sheep graze nearby while the Atlantic stretched out endlessly below us. It felt wild and peaceful at the same time.

The entire trip was magical, the kind of experience you tuck away and pull out again when you need a reminder that the world is big and beautiful. It’s also the only work trip I’ve ever joined him on, and I loved getting to see that part of his life.

I wouldn’t mind repeating that adventure again someday.

☘️ Sugar Creek Moment

St. Patrick’s Beer & Chili Stroll

The town shows up hungry and laughing, mugs in hand, scarves half-wrapped.

Chili steam curls into the cold air as friends drift from door to door. Someone insists on one more stop. Someone else agrees without hesitation.

Spring might be coming — but tonight still belongs to winter.

Before I forget — The Sugar Creek Blame Game is officially live! 🎉

If you read in Kindle Unlimited, it’s now waiting for you there. And if you’ve already had a chance to visit Sugar Creek again with Sara and JD, thank you for spending that time with them.

One of the best ways readers help a book find new homes is by leaving a quick review. Even a sentence or two about what you enjoyed makes a difference and helps other readers discover the story.

However you’re celebrating today, I hope there’s a little warmth, a little laughter, and maybe even a story worth remembering.

Until next week,

River Ford

Book CoverA sweet beach romance short story

I thought I had it all figured out in high school. I planned to spend the remainder of the summer in peace but unfortunately, May has other ideas – she wants me to get the full high school experience. Whatever that means. Since she’s the only friend I got, I guess I have to go along with her. There’s nothing worse than being surrounded by high school stereotypes. Or at least, it seemed that way until I met HIM.
