The days are getting longer now. Not by much, but enough to notice. Enough to hope. Sunlight lingers on the snow a little past dinner. Someone mentions spring without meaning to. No one corrects them.
And one more little update — I’m heading to Branson, Missouri, this weekend for a writing retreat to plan the next project. There’s something special about stepping away to dream up a new story.
