Hello and Happy June to all,

I'm writing you to announce that my new novel Mae and Me is available for purchase pretty much anywhere you buy books. I'd be delighted for all of you to be among the first to purchase it. Maybe you even want to buy a copy for a friend to help spread the news! Or five.

In all seriousness, you can't imagine how thankful I am to even have people to share this news with.

If you are so inclined, you can make that purchase:

HERE

If you enjoy the book, please do leave a review on Goodreads and/or Amazon. The reviews really go a long way (think of yourself buying a book; are you more inclined to buy the one with 50 reviews or 3?)

I am notoriously bad at describing my own books, so for those who are unfamiliar with the plot, here it is from the back cover:

A struggling writer obsessed by the novels he consumes wrestles with bad luck and mishap while trying to find the inspiration for his own book. When he becomes infatuated with an evasive woman who seems to live under several different identities, he begins to have trouble distinguishing real life from the book he's writing.

Mae and Me works as a love-letter to books, to writing, to love, and to New York City. That was my goal with this one all along.

Those close to me will find shades of all of our lives tucked inside of this story. That is all done quite purposefully. Although this book has changed a lot since I began writing it five years ago, one thing has held it together, and that is the desire to write a great New York book. I'll let you be the judge of that.

Finally, I want to thank the following people for their direct and indirect support during the writing process: Sara Velasco, David and Joanne Bogoslaw, Montana Brock, and Chris Jimenez. Whether you realize it or not, this book wouldn't be the same without you.

I hope to hear from you all soon, and thanks so much for reading,

Tyler
