Last Saturday Before Tariffs Increase Vehicle Prices – Act Now on the Chevy Trax

Just wanted to give you a quick heads-up if you’ve been eyeing the Chevy Trax.

There’s a 25% tariff hitting imported vehicles and parts starting April 2, 2025—and since the Trax is built in South Korea, it’s going to be affected. Right now, the average price for a Trax is around $24,800. But with that tariff? It could jump by over $6,000, putting it closer to $31,000.

To put that in perspective—a customer who bought a Trax from me just yesterday could be paying over $6,000 more for that exact same vehicle if they had waited until after the tariffs hit. That’s real money that could’ve gone toward a vacation, student loans, or even a home upgrade.

Some automakers might try to absorb part of the cost, but on budget-friendly models like the Trax, that’s tough. So most of that increase will likely be passed on to customers.

Bottom line: This is the last Saturday before those price hikes kick in. If you’re serious about getting a vehicle, now is the time.
