When They Took Away Her Newborn, Her Life Was Forever Changed

How do you respond when chaos and overwhelm surround you?

That's what our guest on the latest episode of the Adulthood:Revisited podcast shares with us.

Jennifer Wren Tolo is a Whole Health Educator.

Put plainly, she helps people learn how to tame overwhelm and chaos that they may be experiencing in their life.

For Jennifer, it wasn't always this way, and she didn't think life would be this way, but as she shares, this was a result of her journey.

Her career started off as an RN, and she saw for herself working up that nursing practice and management ladder.

When she had her second child, though, everything changed.

You see, during this birth, Jennifer's newborn suffered a massive stroke shortly after being born.

While doctors and other practitioners around here issued grave reports about her child's chance of leading a normal life, Jennifer refused to give in to that.

She learned and picked up new skills, including reiki healing and personal trainer, to be better equipped to be a helpful and supportive mom to her child.

Jennifer learned more about mindfulness and awareness.

It would all come full circle when she learned that her third child was diagnosed with leukemia.

Though a daunting challenge, Jennifer and her family were up to the task.

From these challenges was born her education and coaching programs, where she helps people who feel overwhelmed with life - often people who show up for everyone else, but don't show up for themselves - tame that chaos.

It's a really powerful episode about learning to listen to life, about appreciating your resiliency, and about giving yourself room to hurt and heal. You can listen to Jennifer Wren Tolo on the Adulthood:Revisited podcast by clicking the button below.
