Hello!
The heat is starting to fade, and the leaves are slowly turning colors. You know what that means... summer is almost over. Boo! I know many people love fall/Autumn, but I much prefer summer.
Anyway, I hope this newsletter finds you well. I spent a few days this week enjoying Orange Beach with my family. I had to work from the room most of the days, but I did get to enjoy walking on the beach a little in the late afternoon and evening hours. Here was my view from the room:
On the writing front, I'm just nearing the 50% mark on Acolyte. This series is shaping up to be some of my favorite work! I've also got the covers for Acolyte and Sworn. I'll reveal those in the coming days, but I've decided on an official release date for Chosen. It's October 15! I'll have the preorder details in my next newsletter for those interested.
Other than that, there's not much new around here. I'm doing a local event in Cartersville, GA this weekend at the Rose Lawn Museum. If you're a local, come check it out. It's free to attend, and there are tons of vendors who all provide hand-made goods!
What I’m reading: I'm almost halfway through The Last Shadow Knight by Michael Webb. My writing has been going long into the night, which leaves less time to reading, so progress has been a little slower. Some major things just happened to the main character, and I'm excited to see how it plays out.
What I’m watching: I watched the first episode of Rings of Power season 2. I was only half paying attention because I was working on author stuff, but I liked what I saw. I'll have to rewatch it without any distractions, though.
What are you reading/watching?
As always, a huge thank you for the support!
