Hello,
Deadlines approaching:
Well it's past mid-November and things are starting to happen. For those who are dong NaNoWriMo (attempting to write 50k in a month) it's the final crunch time. For me, I'm using those hours I could be writing deep in editing hell, so don't expect me to surface any time soon. If I seem less sarcastic than usual, it's because EDITING DESTROYS SARCASM.
Onward though:
For those expecting book 2 ARC's, it will likely be with my next email, or maybe even a little after. After the last cover drama, I returned to my previous cover artist, but they're Ukrainian and have told me there might be delays. Fortunately, I'm almost done with Book 2 other than the cover, so once I have that, I should be good to go.
When in doubt... read.
So I've started a new book but it's not going to take me long to get through it, so I need book recommendations. What have you read recently that has been awesome?
Now for the last thing:
For those who missed my last email (I had an unprecedented amount of bounces, so I assume something went wrong there), here is the "book 1.5 "A Day In Upper City". As I mentioned before, this is basically a deleted scene that I extended a little into a short story about what happened when Anna drags Tia to Upper City for the day. It messed with the pacing of book 1, so had to be removed, but since I never delete anything (like a good hoarder) I kept it.
