Hello ,
I Love Easter eggs:
Hippity Hoppity.....
No not those types of Easter Eggs. I'm talking about the hidden gems in games and books that make you go "damn, someone put thought into that". One of the great things about being an author is that I can hide Easter Eggs in my books, and now I've got a couple out, I'm interested to see if anyone's noticed them.
If you find any, tell me okay? Otherwise, I'm going to be sitting in a corner chuckling to myself like a madman thinking I've pulled one over you.
Updates from the undercity:
Finished stuff:
3.5 is done, and needs to be edited. Technically the first draft of book 4 is done, but a lot has changed since I wrote it (almost 2 years ago now) and I'm going to need to fix it up. Put it at half-done right now.
We head back to Tia for book 4, and a lot's happened to her since book 1. She's lost a friend, gained a team, and once again put a target on her back. What more trouble could she get into? Well this is estimated at an 11/12 book series, so let me say A LOT. I know my estimated time on the preorder says end of August, but I am hoping to have it out earlier.
Wish me luck.
Have an awesome April. May there be good books and lots of chocolate/candy or whatever you like eating!
- Ren, Author who will gorge on chocolate this weekend. And next weekend. And probably the weekend after.
Books you should check out:
Sixteen-year-old Abigail Masters has been tormented with nightmares–realistic and terrifying dreams that keep her awake at night. But, somehow, they don't feel like dreams, but more like things lurking in the back of her mind, like events she can almost remember as if they were her own experiences. A chance meeting with a mysterious fortune-teller at her aunt's rural hometown awakens in her a shocking realization: her dreams were, in fact, not dreams, but actual memories of a previous life, when she was the renowned sorceress Angelica Bennett.
FREE: The Vengeance Business
In this devilish collection, Thaena Ashmore seeks to balance her duty to the ancient laws of the Netherworld with the modern age.
In “The Vengeance Business,” a battered housewife makes a diabolical pact to flee her husband, but is that what she really wants?
In “No Way Out,” one of Thaena’s targets is back from the dead as a living corpse. The only way to stop him is to make a dangerous bargain with a monster slayer—an individual with the power to kill Thaena as easily as the revenant she seeks to destroy.
If you have a taste for villains receiving their just desserts, or want to explore what lurks in the infernal corners of the Vestige World, then this is the collection for you.
