“Wake up, little minx. We need to get your spanking out of the way before we can move on to breakfast and the talk we were supposed to have last night.”
Talia shook her head without opening her eyes. “No spanking. I’m a good girl,” she mumbled, sounding like a disgruntled little girl.
“Maybe so, but if you don’t get out of that bed in the next few seconds, you’ll be getting two spankings,” Lonergan said easily.
“No!” Talia said as she sat up and threw herself out of the bed.
Lonergan caught her when she stumbled and began to fall forward.
“Whoopsie,” she said, finally opening her eyes and looking up at him. “Sorry about that. Good morning.”
Lonergan couldn’t help but smile back at her. “Good morning, little minx. Now stop being cute and let’s get your spanking out of the way, so we can get on with the rest of the day.”
Talia wrinkled her nose and then huffed a dramatic sigh. “Oh, all right. If you’re determined.”
Lonergan wrapped his arms around her lower body, picked her up, and carried her out of the bedroom. He walked to the kitchen and pulled a chair away from the table.
“It’s not that I’m determined to spank this gorgeous ass, it’s to teach you that you can always trust me. When I say something, I will always mean it and follow through. The only reason we didn’t do this last night was that I didn’t want to wake you up after you’d fallen asleep.”
Talia looked at him with wide eyes. “I’ll trust you without having to do this.”
Lonergan sat down and patted his thighs. “Nope. Now stop stalling and lay yourself over my lap. Ten spanks should be enough to get you started on the right path here at Bratburg. After breakfast we’ll talk about your rules and the plan for the rest of the day.”
