He climbed onto the bed, straddling her lower body before he reached beneath her and dragged her body higher up on the bed.

His lips silenced her.
His kiss was demanding, his lips claiming her, possessing her until she didn’t know why she wanted to push him away so desperately. She reached up and tangled her fingers in his hair, tugging as he deepened the kiss. His tongue brushed against hers, and she moaned into his mouth. After what felt like a lifetime, he pulled away and stared deep into her eyes.
