Excerpt:

“Everything all right?” Quinn asked, coming out and plopping down in the seat next to me. She had changed into some cute purple-plaid pajama pants with a solid purple top and was brushing her wet hair.

“Yeah, just thinking about work.”

“How did everything go?”

“Great. My boss and our clients are happy. I couldn’t have asked for that to go better. But there was something I missed desperately while I was away.”

“What is that?” Quinn asked, as she finished getting the tangles out of her hair. She set the brush down on the coffee table.

“You.”

Her cheeks reddened at my statement. I hoped one day I’d be able to do the same to her bottom.

“Really?”

“Yes. We’ve spent so much time together these last few months. I’ve grown to truly care about you. Picking you up from school today only confirmed what I was feeling. I want to be your boyfriend and your Daddy. I want to take our relationship to the next level.” As soon as the words left my mouth, I prayed that I hadn’t been too forward. I just couldn’t wait any longer.

“Yes!” Quinn blurted out and then covered her mouth with her hand in embarrassment. I couldn’t help but chuckle and feel grateful we were on the same page.

I pulled her hand away from her face. “I’m going to kiss you now.”

She nodded slightly. Leaning forward, I locked our lips together. Hers were so soft and tasted like lemons.

“Mmm,” I groaned, loving the taste. Ever so carefully, I took one of her hands in my left hand and intertwined our fingers.

She let out a little moan, which parted her lips. Wanting to continue my luck, I deepened our kiss. My tongue entered her mouth. She wrapped her free hand around my neck and pulled me in closer. That was as good a sign as any to let me know she was liking what was happening.

With my free hand, I ran my fingers through her wet hair. It felt so silky smooth. I wondered if that was how her pubic hair would feel to my tongue.

A knock on the door startled me and I pulled away, breaking our kiss. She had a dazed look on her face.

“That must be the food,” she whispered.

I nodded. “Don’t go anywhere,” I said, winking at her as I stood up to get our meals. I grabbed everything from our delivery person and then went to the little kitchen table. Quinn had a pet peeve about eating anywhere else besides at the table.

“Do you need help?” she asked, coming to stand by my side.

“No, thank you. They provided everything for us,” I said as I handed her a container of spaghetti and meatballs and took mine, which had chicken Parmesan. I pulled out the utensils that were rolled up in a napkin, giving her one pair and taking the other.

We sat down and dug into our meals. After a few bites, she said, “This is going to sound super cheesy, but that was the best kiss I ever had.”

“I don’t think that’s cheesy. Adorable, yes, and I’m glad. There’s something about you that makes everything I do with you feel like the most incredible experience.”

“So, you liked it?” she asked, biting her bottom lip.

“Sweetheart,” I said as I leaned forward and gently pressed down on her chin to release her lip. “I loved it. If I wasn’t a gentleman and a Daddy, I’d push our food off the table and claim you right here.”

“Oh,” she said, and stared down at what we were eating on. For a second, I was afraid that I had been too forward, but when she looked up at me, her pupils were dilated, her cheeks had a dark blush to them, and her breathing had quickened.

My shaft hardened and I wished I hadn’t changed into my jeans.
