“Ugh! Why did we have to get so old?” I groaned as his hand came down hard against my left ass cheek.

“Speak for yourself,” Wilson retorted, smacking the other cheek with equal strength. “One.”

“One!” I cried. “That was two! I think you’re too drunk to spank me if you can’t even count correctly.”

“Ugh!” I cried again. “Why do I have to take your birthday spanking, too? That’s not fair.” Since it wasn’t trouble, I didn’t really care, but I enjoyed this part, the arguing with him without him getting upset, the back-and-forth banter.

“It’s not fair,” Wilson retorted. “But it is tradition. And I know how you feel about traditions, little one. There’s a fancy better-than-sex cake sitting on the counter in there as a testament to exactly how important traditions are to you, and what they are worth to you.”
