This Sunday at Redemption Valley – “Guilt: The Unwanted Companion” (Luke 9:6–9)
Jul 26, 2025 4:18 pm
Good Morning Redemption Valley Family,
You are invited to join us this Sunday at 10am for worship, fellowship, and a powerful message from God’s Word.
This week’s message is titled: “Guilt: The Unwanted Companion”
Luke 9:6–9
Pastor Jim will be preaching on the story of Herod as he hears reports about Jesus and begins to wonder if John the Baptist has come back to life. Herod is haunted by guilt for having John unjustly killed—an emotion that continues to pursue him.
This week, we’ll take a deeper look at the effects of guilt:
- How guilt can weigh down the Christian, holding us back from walking freely in grace.
- And how God can use guilt in the life of the non-believer to awaken a need for Jesus and lead them to salvation.
Whether you’ve struggled with guilt yourself or know someone who is, this is a message that speaks to the reality of guilt, the power it can wield over our hearts—and the hope we have in Christ.
After the service, stick around for fellowship and enjoy our Yogurt Bar!
It’s a great chance to connect and encourage one another.
Bring a friend, come ready to worship, and let’s grow together in truth and grace.
We meet in the Legacy Academy Cafeteria (behind Walmart) at 10am every Sunday.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
With grace,
Pastor Jim Kimbriel
