Hi
The first Friday in February is National Woman's Heart Day and the aim is to bring awareness to women's cardiovascular health. Every day we should be paying attention to this especially if you are approaching perimenopause, going through perimenopause or are post menopausal.
Why? As estrogen drops, the cardiovascular protective effects drop as well meaning your risk of heart disease increases. If you didn't know, heart disease kills more that twice of that than breast cancer in older women.
What can you do?
- Engage in movement that will get your heart pumping like Banded. To find out more, go to https://form.jotform.com/201414229557049
- Eat whole unprocessed foods aka an anti-inflammatory heart healthy diet
- Add foods that improve blood flow and circulation like beets
If you aren't sure where to start, join the 21 Day Experience challenge. For more details, go to https://reacfitness.17hats.com/p#/lcf/hddgzskgpxzhbvwddhfdxfbgdrkbtbrw
Freedom, Happiness, Balance
