What's up in the neighbourhood?

All is well in the neighbourhood. We got our pumpkins at the pumpkin patch but since my daughter got her wisdom teeth extracted a few days late, we ended up having to draw on the pumpkins instead of carving them, for lack of time. Also, my daughter managed to go trick-or-treating but she can't eat any of her hard-earned sweets.

Really sad. I'll have to eat them for her.

Our cat hid in a tree because Smokey, our local black bear, was playing soccer with our garbage bin in the middle of the night, trying to get a snack. Fortunately, the bear lock held the lid in place.
